My name is Paul Stroud, and my amateur radio call sign is AA4XX.

One of my favorite pursuits is combining portable low power amateur radio activities and camping.

I also enjoy low power contesting, especially on 160M.

I am a native North Carolinian and am fortunate to live within a couple hour’s drive from the coast, and about four hour’s drive from the mountains. This provides many ideal sites to set up experimental antennas while camping.
